KNS next-generation antennas receive regulatory approval for Brazil market
BROUSSARD, Louisiana (July 16, 2015)—Opening up the market to a solid brand of technology, National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) recently authorized distribution of two antennas from the KNS, Inc. Ku-Band SuperTrack Z-Series for sale and use in Brazil. Responsible for the regulation, authorization and enforcement of operators on the provision of telecommunication services, Anatel also defines Brazil’s telecom standards—ensuring quality products are stimulating fair market value and sustaining high-caliber competition.
For maximum quality and reliability, the Z7 Mk3 (75 cm) and Z10 Mk3 (100 cm) products are the “go-to” antennas for BlueTide. The official “master distributor” to the U.S. market for KNS, BlueTide can now install and support the popular Z7 and Z10 antennas in Brazil, giving customers more capability and flexibility in a pivotal geographic region. Specializing in marine-stabilized antenna systems, KNS is a worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and integration of marine communications products. Says KNS Director Noah Chung, “The Anatel certification process is very detailed and extremely thorough. So in addition to granting official homologation, Anatel approval also represents a significant product endorsement.”
